Defining, automating, and managing app deployment processes
- Managing system infrastructure at various locations, troubleshooting hardware/software issues, maintaining security standards, providing user support and training, setting up and monitoring Zoom presentations, covering staff absences, and performing ad hoc projects
- Developing complex budgets and administrative sections of grant and contract proposals, reviewing and implementing federal, state, foundation and university regulations, providing technical advice to stakeholders, and facilitating adherence to sponsor deadlines
- Developing and supporting outgoing subawards by analyzing, issuing, negotiating and tracking subawards, serving as a point of contact for subawards, negotiating terms and conditions, and participating in process improvement activities
- Managing budgets for Full-time and Evening MBA Programs, including Admissions, Operations, Student Affairs, and Strategic Consulting, coordinating data collection, analysis, and reporting for surveys and rankings, managing the MBA scholarship process and class
- Leading HR functions and developing recruitment and retention strategies, delivering HR services, interpreting policies and advising on organizational changes, supervising staff and cultivating an inclusive workplace culture
- Providing operational, administrative, research, and project management support to the Donor Relations team, coordinating events and assisting with donor recognition, managing calendars, travel arrangements and correspondence, and maintaining confidentiality and accountability
- Planning, executing, and evaluating event strategies, managing budgets, negotiating vendor agreements and supervising student workers, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders and producing high-quality work under tight timelines
- Providing operational support for the Office of University Committees, including analytical and operational support to the twelve University Faculty Councils, maintenance of official records and assistance with business operations
- Leading the fiscal services and budget operations for a school, including strategic advising, budget management, financial reporting and compliance, supervising finance and payroll team, developing financial reports and providing analysis for decision-making
- Project managing and closing complex IT projects at University of Washington and affiliates, coaching and training other project managers, handling diverse activities in high-pressure environment and communicating effectively with technical/non-technical audiences
- Managing faculty human resources operations including recruitment, promotion and tenure, leaves, payroll management and onboarding, ensuring compliance with university policies and procedures and actively pursuing strategies to support diversity, equity and inclusion
- Assisting in migrating files and data of previously executed contracts, reviewing contracts and ensuring records are set up correctly, using different systems to review contracts and copy and paste records to Workday and working with Contract Specialists to locate documents
- Managing and delivering data analysis, performance analytics and developing key performance indicators (KPI), analyzing operational data variances for planning and optimizing statistical efficiency by understanding existing databases
- Executing and managing grants/contracts processes to facilitate accurate and timely pre-award grants production, assisting with post-award management and providing strategic planning advice to principal investigators about funding and resource allocation
- Leading and shaping the editorial vision and strategy of the news division, directing daily news coverage, supervising the newsroom staff and managing budgeting duties, fostering diversity, equity and inclusion within the organization
